SALT Research Garanti BBVA Archive’s first section, comprising 10,000 records, is now accessible online.
As part of the archival project that began in April 2023, over 36,000 physical materials, including posters, reports, commercials, periodicals, photographs, albums, slides, brochures, and various objects, have been cataloged in Turkish and English; the inventory work for approximately 255,000 digital records has been completed.
The collection, spanning from 1946 to the present, opens up Garanti BBVA’s institutional memory for research in conjunction with Turkey’s economic, social, cultural, and technological transformation.
